Springfield!

We have been here in Springfield for almost 3 weeks now and things seem to be going good. Dave's job is great, Lillian and I love the extra time we have with him now. We are very slowly getting things unpacked, but we're getting there.

I had a hard time finding a doctor here. I called 3 offices and they wouldn't see because I was past 20 weeks, but I finally found one and I see him in a couple of weeks. I'm sure the babies are fine, they are moving like crazy it seems like most of the time.

Lillian is adjusting very well to her new house. We put her in a toddler bed when we moved here and she is doing great. She didn't get out of bed the first few days, but as soon as she found that she could get out of bed on her own, it was trouble. LOL She wouldn't nap for about a week because when I would lay her down she would get out of bed and start playing. She is doing much better now.

Bad news....we are still trying to sell our house in Manhattan. :( So, if you want to buy it, please, feel free!!!!

I hope everyone is doing well. Have a very very Merry Christmas!

I forgot to tell you that....

we're moving to Springfield, MO. Dave got a job with State Farm insurance. He starts Dec 1st. Today is Nov. 29th. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Anyway, I am writing this in Lawrence at my mothers house because we are waiting for the Penske Mechanic to get to Lawrence to put a new alternator in the truck AND it's snowing. We are not having a great day today, but what can you do.

We are excited about the move and about the new job though. If you would like the new address just email Dave or myself...

We had another sonogram today to check on the babies and they are both doing great. We got to hear the heart beats and we are just so happy.

It still early in the pregnancy at this point. 6 weeks 1 day, but the babies are grown as they are supposed to and they have strong little heartbeats, even though the little hearts having only been beating for a day or two. We are bad bad bloggers!

It's been so long since we have posted any updates. The older Lillian gets the less exciting she is I guess. JUST KIDDDING!

Lillian is doing just great. She is eating big people food all the time now and she got herself off the bottle. I was worried about taking the bottle away when she turned one, but one day about a week after she turned 1 I gave her a sippy cup and she never touched a bottle again. She finally started sleeping through the night after she turned 1, thank goodness. She loves watching TV, just commercials though so it's not too bad, but I'm telling you when a commercial comes on, don't even try to get her attention.

Dave and I are doing well too, in case anyone was wondering. We are enjoying parenthood and life in general. Me more so than Dave right now, last Monday 6/2/08 we had a bad storm and they got softball size hail out where Dave works then a couple of days later they had a flood out there so he is working all the time to try to catch everything up. I hope it happens soon, we miss him at home. Anyway, I'll try to update more often from now on.

1 year already!

Lillian turned 1 on the 30th of last month. It's hard to believe that year has passed already. Not that long ago a year seemed like a really long time to me and now I'm wishing the years could slow down a little bit. Lillian is doing great, she's 23 lbs 4 oz 31 1/2 inches long. She gets more and more beautiful everyday...You can still see new pictures of her all the time on Flickr.

Wow, 9 months already!

Lillian turned 9 months old on the 30th of December, her check up was Jan. 3rd. She is 21 lbs 15 oz and 29" long. She is very healthy and where she should be developmentally. It's hard to believe that she is 9 months old already, it seems like just yesterday when we brought her home from the hospital.

Happy 2008!!!!

Okay, so I have really been slacking on our blog, but now that we are all caught up, I'll do my best to keep it that way. Well, 2007 was a wonderful year. I believe that is obvious in the blog. We always new having a child would be a nice, but we never new how wonderful parenthood is. 2007 was probably the best year of our lives, (since 2005 anyway.) Lillian has completed our family and we could not have asked for more. I hope every else had a wonderful year and I hope 2008 brings even more blessings and joys!! Happy New Year, we love you all!!!!
(I have updated flickr as well, so you can click here to see new pictures.)

Christmas!

Lillian has a great time opening gifts for Christmas. She really liked the paper more than anything else. LOL Now that all the paper is gone she is enjoying all the fun toys, which she has WAY too many of. LOL

She loves the new kitten...

Lillian and the new kitten get along great! The cat likes to cuddle with Lillian, but only if she's sitting on our lap and he lets her play with his collar and tail.

I'm standing...

Lillian has finally figured out how to stand up. She still struggles, but once she gets up, she's happy.
